We don't seem to have a general Want To Buy thread, so I figured I'd start one. This is for the small shit really. Posting a new wtb thread for bikes or wheels or something would probably be more effective.
I want to buy a pair of thumb shifters. Falcon/Sunrace friction thumbies are fine. Just something for this old Marin for urban destruction.

I figured we could have one thread where we could all rate our transactions with other members so we can avoid shifty people and stick to good ones and whatnot.
I traded handlebars with bward1028. It was an all around good transaction, he sent me pictures of the bars to show off any imperfections and once we agreed he got them in the mail immediately. Overall I'd give him

frameset. 2009, red and white, with white cdale ultra fork, and cane creek headset. never wrecked, never dented, just some top tube wear. not bb30. 350

Due to an abrupt move to NYC I was (thankfully) forced into getting rid of a lot clothes that I never wore. Some things went into boxes to be kept in storage, some to thrift stores or to a Salvation Army, but I gave a lot of my stuff away to friends who might be able to appreciate something more than I could or would simply use more. I love getting rid of stuff I don't use and I love giving stuff to my friends. I brought a few of my favorite shirts with me, maybe a half dozen T's and three button ups. To put it simply: I under packed.

Yep, selling it. I've got a cross bike to build and some unexpected bills, so I'm getting rid of everything I don't use. And since I moved to a second floor apartment, I never use the Xtra anymore.
This is the first version, without disc brake tabs or fender mounts (use p-clamps and cut your stays short if you want a rear fender). Made for 26" wheels. The bags are in good shape, the Snapdeck has been stripped and shellacked, though only on top. All hardware is included.
