7075 is very commonly used in high end bicycle components.
Seriously, Deathhare, post pics of said pornographic wheelset or I'll fly there to personally deliver your pitd.

What does hand made hub mean? I can see if he hand assembles the hubs. But i'm sure he either cnced or forged the shell, which would both involve machines.
I think I'm gonna do Mack LF for whatever my next build is.
only when im drunk.
alright deathhare
i can't punish you since you're in the gang
so we are gonna have to do this whipping boy style
i'll ban ben if you don't post an update of these hubs built and ridden

He will do it dude! Don't push him! Post those goddamn pics!
It never troubles the wolf how many the rabbits may be.
I'm going to put in an order soon. Mack also builds lightweight hubs (120g/210g--including washers, bolts, and lockring)!
Anybody else want to put in an order with me so that we can save on shipping?
Mmmmmmm... bubblewrap is soooooo sexy...
tarck knows your nether regions better than you do. ~Walrus
The front looks like a bmx hub, which is by no means bad. I'd consider a set too for the right price.
I think it's slang for "not made somewhere people of color are from"

Yeah, let's just say that the hubs are made per order by one man with a big scary machine.
okay well let's hope that ben has friends somewhere besides tarckbike.com (and we know that isn't likely)

If all white folk are as dumb as you I'd rather have my hubs built by a fucking rainbow with arms.
I'm getting ready to lace my set up to a set of Campy Atlanta rims, uberblingtastic
I'm still waiting for mine to arrive :(...............................................

saw this on hk fixed today, don't they kinda look like mac hubs?
They really do.
In my family, brave men run.
Both Polish. My money's on same.
Those gromedas were pretty pricey.
They are the same hubs. The Mack dude made them for Gromada (I guess it's a shop in Poland?) who sell them Gromada-branded, and priced accordingly. Better just to order them directly from the Man himself.
You can buy Mack hubs from couple of other webstores too and one Danish shop sells them for more €€€ than what they sell Phils.
well, first off he brings up a good point because taiwanese stuff is still handmade but gets such a negative image from westerners. second off, i can back firsthand that white folks knows more about machining than 95% of this board.
only when im drunk.
So I think I'm going to put in my order next week. If you want to order, too, let me know so that we can split shipping from Poland to the US. We'll get it shipped to my work, and I'll overnight your hubs to you for free.
Finally got mine in. The finish is WOW.

Mack stuff coming in the mail..... excited and can't wait. Said shipping would take 10-15 ($15 to HI) days this time as opposed to the 2 months last time :)

nevermind, re-read the review.
i dont follow.
what did re-reading the review expose to you that was unbeknownst before?
jussi, nice drivetrain. What's he hub laced to?
http://www.hawaiimusicsupply.com http://www.highergroundhawaii.com
Thanks, the rim is a polished Rigida DP18. I got the same hub on front with low flange Mack hub.
so tempted. someone pull the trigger before i do. quick.

edit: they are listed as clincher... but do those not appear to be tubular rims in the photos? i'm probably wrong, but they sure look that way.
28hole :/

I guess I should let everyone know that the rear bearing has gone shitty in the hubs after only a few thousand miles.
The good thing is that Mack sent me bearings for free from Poland.
Theyre not installed yet but will be when I have the time to take them to Josh's shop.
Hah, I still only have about 50 miles on my set since they are still laced to my track tubulars. They still spin for days.
If you have any questions about bearing quality an upgrade to Enduro ceramics would be a relatively inexpensive option.
Just got my silver, low flange, 36 hole jobbies. One of the best looking/feeling bicycle components I've ever touched. Can't wait to lace them up!

finally a sensible (not pink) set being ordered. can't wait to see them laced. what rims? please say something low profile.
Eliminate the weak... and by weak I mean flip flop wearing motherfuckers. -rabbit magic
lol yeah, definitely low profile. I'm kinda embarrassed to say but they're going on Sun CR18s. It's going to be a practical bike: wide tires, fenders, two brakes and a bell - all those sorts of things. I was gonna go for Formulas but I'm stoked I paid the extra $50 for these mofos.
