I own this pack... I like it better than any of the messenger bags i've tried.

Its waterproof and there are 5 compartments... 3 of which are waterproof. they're all lined with tarp material: its pretty sweet to use your backpack as a mobile beer cooler, works as an A/C in the summer too! fuck yeah

It feels really nice on your back and the waist and chest strap work well, hugs you like a panda. there's foam padding on the back area. there was tons of extra material on the straps though so i cut them with scissors and lit the ends with a lighter to keep them from fraying... it looks nicer now.

its not too big, i can fit like two 6 packs of bottles stacked on top of each other.

its really durable; looks like it will last forever.

I give this bag 4/5 stars.

Just traveled 5323.94 mi with the rolltop bag and i've gotta say this= it's too small. I have a metropolis messenger bag that is the perfect size, and the Ivan rolltop just isn't cutting it. The belt rides way too high so when i'm sitting down or even standing it's over my gut, not my hips for support. Fitting most things in the compartment is tough, even when it's empty. There are far fewer pockets for bike repair shit and separating the other random shit i carry. There is no secret pocket, and what kind of guy doesn't need a secret pocket? I mainly wanted to get it cause it was brown and to try out the other style.
I actually have no visibility problems with the thing, but then again I'm taller than Jim and would probably want the Sultan instead of the Ivan.
