1. Metric allen keys and wrenches, A pedal wrench (if your 15mm is too thick), crank puller, floor pump with gauge, 1/8th" chain breaker, 1/8th" chain whip, lockring tool, headset wrench (usually 28mm), BB pin spanner, headset press. (not all of these are must-haves)
I know you know this but: 32mm is the usual threaded headset size. A long bolt, couple of nuts, big washers and two wrenches = headset press.
What is it called when the chainring is attached forever and forever to the crank?

I don't know if it's true or not, but I see what they mean. The difference in length between the two spindles is 3mm that is essentially "added" to the NDS of the 107mm spindle. I actually don't see what you don't understand I guess.
I guess my thinking is: who's out there who's like, "Man, this BB gives me a perfect chainline, but I just wish my non-driveside cranks stuck out more."

Here's my dumb question of the day. The road frame I want to get repainted/powdercoated has internal routing for the rear brake cable. I've never messed with it before. Will I need to do anything special to fish the cable through?

I would do it electrician-style. Straighten out a coat hanger and push that through, electrical tape the housing to the end of it, and pull it back through. You could also try with a string and a vacuum cleaner.
I have watched electricians use this trick to get wire through quite long and bendy runs of 1/2" conduit. They use a little light ball on the end of the string to increase suction iirc. It's pretty cool.
Hey, I have a (newb) question. I have 700x23 tires on my bicycle. I have the clearance and want to put on 700x35 tires. Can I use the same rim or do I need a new, wider? rim. Thanks

So, I dropped my frame a little without a chain on it and one of the chainring teeth bent a bit. It's out of alignment with the others a couple of mm. Should I not use it?
No way dude.
A couple of mm's?
As in easily visible?
I'd be shocked if your chain even caught that tooth.

Yeah pretty easily visible when you spin. I was planning on getting a different ring anyway. Just making sure it's no good before I ditch it. Kinda bummed though. It's a nice ring :(

Teeth can be bent back if you're careful. Sheldon recommends an adjustable wrench.

I'd bend it back without a moment of hesitation.
Actually, the chainring will work fine even if it breaks right off as long as the stub is straight. Of course it would look like shit but functionally none the worse.
I'd think you can bend it back no problem.

Have a pair of these in silver: http://www.chucksbikes.com/store/br001.htm
Have a Green Mercier KTT. Mostly silver components. A coaster setup w/ baby blue rims and gumwall tires.
What should I wrap them with? Bacon Tape? Other suggestions?
best thing to do is when you're off your bike, rotate your pedals so that one side is at the bottom of it's rotation, and see how far you can lean your bike over before the pedal touches the ground. that way you know how far is too far.
I know you know this but: 32mm is the usual threaded headset size. A long bolt, couple of nuts, big washers and two wrenches = headset press.
My bad. And yes, homemade headset press ftw.

But again, no idea if it's true.
Look up the tech docs on Shimano's site. If they have the same chainline then obviously the difference is on the left side. I think it is true.
Those BBs are asymmetrical to begin with so this would not be much of a shock.

I've just poked it through, then used an old spoke to 'catch' the end of the housing and guide it out.
