Well, the guy Nick does say his mom had him at 16 and his dad died of an OD. Given those circumstances it's not surprising where he ended up. Still, it really sucks that scumfucks have to reproduce and perpetuate a cycle of abuse.

I'm just chiding I saw some scumfuck do some seriuosly fucked up shit to a little kid the other day. He exclaimed loudly so that all could here that "This is what punk rock is all about".
I asked him "so punk rock is about beating up little drunk kids that can't defend themselves?"
His response was relatively indecipherable and he went off and started yelling at some dumb girl because she was an easier target.
I'm sad to say that for every cool crusty I've ever met I've met 10 like that guy.

yeah, nothing wrong with that. i totally didn't mean fucked up shit will turn people into fucked up people. but some people just can't handle it, and are hurt and angry and turn it outwards. i guess i don't think of them as being lesser people, but definitely as people engaging in actions with negative effects, which does upset me.
