My friend was telling me about a bike show in Madison this weekend (http://www.bikeorama.com/home.html). He was gonna be going for the canoe show next door, but was thinking of stopping by the bike show too. Any tarckers going/Is this worth going to?
if you have money to spend it is def worth going to. you can find some good investments, like the sun rims i bought last year and sold most of for a profit.
OK. Would it be a total waste of a trip if I just go to window shop?
well i'm not really into that sort of thing, so i would say no. i'd rather look at pictures online than go to a crowded building to look at stuff.
i would go. you never know.
its been like 8 years since i the last time i went coz moved to TX, but i ended up getting a vintage huffy tandem for $80 one year and a '68 stingray frame for $20 another. also found the correct headbadge for an old JC Higgins. (i was into the old stuff back then)
