Its funny that you all hate so much and look at SF fixed well if you look closely on there and read the replys everyone is hyped and I have actually already sent out a few pairs of risers today. Just thinking outside the box. People in SF are hyped on these bars and I plan on living there within the next year, also I have many friends there on top of that two shops in the bay plan on carrying these bars (pedal rev being one). I also do alot of work in the Portland area and respect the city as one of the best to ride in I just didnt know the people hated so much I have never ever felt that vibe while visiting.

Stupid fucking fred ass spoke reflectors. They don't even hurt anything, I just hate them.
Worse, those reflectors that come on low spoke count wheels that have a ton of extra plastic just to keep them attached over the huge distance between spokes.

I know why they exist. That doesn't make me hate them any less.

All bikes are really just overpriced crosschecks with different geometries.
These shimano hub-nipple/bladed spoke/radial-crossed-mix wheels. Maybe they are great wheels to ride (I don't know), but I once tried to true a rear that had been crashed and it was the biggest pain in the ass to work on.
this i'm a bit unsure about. i think the 11 speed thing is kinda a ridiculous pissing match, like the whole h+son/B43 thing. but i'm not one to discourage technical advances, so whatever.
i will say though, i kinda like the hold fast straps. they seem like a nice mix of powergrips and clip/strap setups. for easy around town riding, BMX pedals can't be beat, and hold fast straps allow you to put foot retention on them and wear giant clunky skate shoes.

hold fast straps actually work really well, much better than the ridiculous version you can find on a few sites
i like Di2
they were selling gruppos at interbike (to certain shop employees) for like $1200. would buy for that price... if i needed a gruppo, wouldnt buy it to replace my current stuff

Heh, I really liked those bars the first time I saw a photo of them because they remind me of old Boss bars. They are pretty terrible.
so he was telling the truth about sf being HYPED on his bars?
Eighthinch.com / Wheel and Sprocket will not responsible for misuse of this product- including jumping, off-road use, or reckless riding!
hella
For NJS polo?
Sadly, sprocket grinds.
Have seen in use at polo though.
brent wants me to post this:
but i disagree. those helmets are so awesome.
These always make me lol.
On that note:
the aerobars/bottle is silly, but seems like a pretty good idea if your serious about TTs

ftfy
coz takin sips without grabbin the bottle or anything
gave one of those away at the halloween alleycat race...
They'd be confused by all the rando and think we are a bunch of long ballers.
~coco
im serious about doing TTs on my funny bike next season.
no aerobottle tho
Just about anything Profile Design puts out makes me lol/cringe/puke a little.
i'd rock a tron helmet so hard
not very aero. only a triathlete would be into that.
Exactly my point.

GRHebard: not serious about his look
damn i was gonna post those bars.

aside from the asian food donut holocaust thread.

i find these to be pretty handy. i leave a set on my bike in case i'm out late and forget my regular lights.

Also, aluminum forks. All of them.
sorry, backing knog lights.
not great lights but handy. 6 out of 10.
Oh my Jesus that's a bad idea.
i have no idea about the quality of these wheels i just think they look silly
I got some of those for pretty cheap and decided to sell them rather than gluing them up. I have no regrets.
and they dont get stolen?
Any wheelset that has non-standard spokes and weighs more than 1500 grams.

two things that i would fuck with. two things i am glad exist.
yeah
two things i wouldn't buy now, but someday that tech stuff will trickle down to a level that i might actually purchase and use.
