yea i got the mercury villager, it was a collabo from different companies. On topic, that from chain ring is adorable. How is it coming down the hill? Possible?
For the Mt Washington races and practice rides ridding down is not allowed. But in the fall the do a stage race up in that area that includes a 2 mile time trial up the auto road and for that you ride down after the event.
What the hell, man? You look like you're 25 - how the hell could you have a midlife crisis?
Anyway, I agree, that Mt. Washington climb looks like a fucking blast. I'm seriously jealous.

I would have to train for that but losing weight.. no way. I'm over a pound of pasta a day or a huge helping of rice and beans just to keep my current weight with the riding.

This is my 25 year old daughter........... Sergent Daughter to you!
Mt Washington and the Presidential range is awesome. If your ever in the northeast make some time to see them or better yet do a good hike above the treeline (with proper gear).

I'm doing both races up Washington this year. I won't do the races fixed. with the mass start I'd get run over with my 20" gear. The next practice ride up Washington is the day after the race up Ascutney.
So this is a conversion, it was a 1970's PISTAchio tree. It had been out of use and all the nuts were rusted or had fallen off and brown paint was chipping. I stripped all the brown paint off and am gonna get it powder coated pretty soon.

It's probably because I'm drunk (which coincidentally is why I'm posting in the first place), but this is by a wide margin the funniest thing I have ever read.

This is pretty much the most awesome photo TarckBike.com will ever see. I'm taking the plunge, guys... Mr. DDYTDY, sir, I'd like to ask for your sgt. daughter's hand in marriage. I will trade you a super sick TarckBike.com sticker to put on your super sick Pista.

you should put some pegs on the front or rear so you can rest your legs while you cost down. lol.

I just spent thirty seconds trying to figure out what a "manesake" was.
Everyone hates LeMond even though he's never done anything to them. I honestly don't understand the disdain. The man is one of the greatest riders in history, I don't give a shit was he does off the roads.

Yeah, the bike came that way from the guy I traded with. I think I'm going to get two death vinyl stickers made so it'll match on both sides, at some point I may get a complete powerdercoat, but right now I'm just glad that the bike fits so well. Going on the first real ride today, only got to do a test quick fit adjust ride in front of the house so far. Thanks for the compliments.
This camera I have, a Nikon Coolpix 4300, has an Auto-focus... that never stops trying to focus and for one reason or another will not turn off. Sometimes the blur is cool... most itmes it isn't.
And this is the "Pool ball"...

Here's my Rush Hour that I'm bringing back to life. It has seen only track time recently but I haven't been there much lately so I figure I better do some long rides on this thing and get back in shape. I like it in all it's mish-mash glory.
When I switched from steel to aluminum I thought my bearings were messed up or something.
Seriously I heart your Cannondale.
i heart this cannondale too. my commute has actually been something to look forward to, cuz that means i get to ride my new bike. all i need now is to adjust the derailers a bit and find a new 1" threadless headset for the fork i got. my buddy gave me a cheap-o forte aluminum seatpost, which will do just fine for me.
It's a POS Windstar Northwoods

DDYTDY I remember seeing you bike on BF. You did the mt. washington climb on that too right?

That looks like so much fun.

Yeah, that was me.
Mt Washington is the event thats been motivating me. Eat right, train on the hills, get the weight down.
Its been my way of dealing with the mid life, I'm not that old crisis.
Benefit is I got the cholesterol down 75 points without drugs and lost 29 lbs.
DO IT!
Porky Gulch Classic, 2 mile up hill tt. Storyland Criteruim and Cross at Great Glen.

. If the weathers good enough to let us ride I'll take the Pista up again.
There was a dude riding a Rush Hour up Ascutney last year. Ascutney is shorter but slightly steeper then Washington and they let you ride down.
So this is a conversion, it was a 1970's PISTAchio tree. It had been out of use and all the nuts were rusted or had fallen off and brown paint was chipping. I stripped all the brown paint off and am gonna get it powder coated pretty soon.

Sorry Guys Sgt Daughter is spoken for....I'm very proud of her. Diesel mechanic, engineering student and marksman with her M-16.
I'll pass on the pegs but a Tarckie Top Tube cover would defiantly make it more comfortable to rest my knees.
chris175, I've hiked up up Tuckermans to watch the show. (I don't ski) You guys that ski/ride that wall have truly earned the ride.
Give me that LeMond. Give it to me now. RIGHT NOW!!!!!
